It can be made larger or smaller and i will show you how this can be sized for larger eggs. Materials Scrap Yarns DK (3) Weight Yellow Orange for the beak Black for the eyes darning needle 4.5 mm crochet hook scissors YOU CAN substitute another weight of yarn but you need to adjust the size of the crochet hook accordingly.
