A Cane Rod on the Wye and Usk.
An early season fly fishing trip to The Wye & Usk. There were brief hatches of Large Dark Olives and March Browns. These early season hatches are all to brief, but they do seem to bring the better fish up. On both days I fished a 3 piece 8ft 5wt Superfast cane rod.
