We spent a day exploring Whitby, one of the UK's most iconic seaside towns that also has a uniquely weird and quirky side. Join us as we discover some of Whitby's must see attractions and landmarks from Whitby Abbey, the 199 steps and of course Whitby harbour. We follow in the footsteps of Bram Stoker with Whitby providing inspiration for his famous novel Dracula, from the Bram Stoker memorial bench to the grave of Dracula's first victim. We also pay a visit to some of Whitby's other mysterious and quirky locations such as the screaming passage and the Lewis Carroll garden. Of course Whitby is also famous for its food, especially the fish and chips so we can't resist a portion for ourselves. We also get our hands on a Whitby bun and visit a quirky Sherlock Holmes themed coffee shop.
