Choosing the Best Fibreglass Roller - A Simple Experiment

In this video I'm simply trying three different types of fibreglass rollers to work out which one is best suited for my needs. I tried the paddle roller, radius roller and the bristle roller and essentially found that the only one I didn't like was the paddle roller. Basically I found the paddle roller was a little too messy for my liking as it tended to throw up too much resin and create splatter and leave little hills and crevices in the resin which would potentially sit back and level out but I found it too messy - probably a me thing, The bristle roller is my favourite but it can get caught up on the stitching in various cloth causing the glass to rise and air to get trapped in below - not good when fibreglassing. It is better suited for lighter fabrics but can be used on many different fibreglass layups. Keeping in mind my layups are multiple layers where I'm rolling out in between each subsequent layer. A typical lay up for my projects might be as follows 1 X 600gram CSM 1 X 600gram Double Bias stitched with csm backing 1 X 600gram Biaxial Rolling out in between layers and and wetting it out with resin for the next layer ensuring I get good saturation of the fibreglass cloth i.e. the resin soaks all the way through the cloth. I found the bristle roller to be a good all rounder but just didn't have the same feel to it as the bristle roller. If all you want is one roller then the radius roller might be your choice?
