Fitting Cross Feed Nut Monarch
Today I finished up the cross-feed nut on Pearl, and modify the under side or the cross slide nut mounting surface and whittled a bit off a couple other items that were all effected by, the regrinding of the ways and gib adjustments made to bring the lathe back to better than new conditions, which modified the alinement or center line of the cross feed lead screw. 50 years and I have collected the best and got rid of the rest in shop machines, tooling, equipment and consumables now it’s time to let the shop go, submit interested proposals accepted via. Email, [email protected] I have a new store front that TeePublic has made for a collection of swag on their Dashery web site. You can pick your favorite choices, and they handle the rest. Life is good!
