I conducted an experiment on blood quality before and after drinking alcohol. The alcohol was strong (vodka, cognac). First, blood was drawn from a man for analysis under a microscope before drinking. His blood was quite thin, but the red blood cells had gathered into coin-shaped columns. This indicates that they had lost their negative charge. The blood was in "average condition" by my standards. This is roughly the kind of blood I most often see in people I sample. These are different people, of different ages and professions, leading different lifestyles... Most often, red blood cells in the blood clump together into coin-shaped columns. The man drank 100 ml of strong alcohol. Fifteen minutes later, blood was drawn again. We saw that the red blood cells had gathered into smaller clots, and the blood had visibly thinned and looked better. Surprising? But the joy didn't last long. Two hours later, they took another blood test, and it was already very thick. Thicker than it had been before drinking alcohol. All blood cell movement had ceased, and the blood had lost its former fluidity. Four hours after drinking alcohol (during which time the person continued drinking strong alcohol and ate festive dishes like Olivier salad and meat), the blood became completely thick. The spaces between the blood cells practically disappeared, and the blood resembled a solid mess of cells stuck together. The fluidity was completely invisible, and the blood began to appear dehydrated. Therefore, I'm inclined to conclude that immediately after drinking alcohol, the blood may improve for a short time. But then, after some time, the blood thickens significantly and loses its fluidity. The blood looks its worst just a few hours after drinking strong alcohol. It's unclear whether the blood will look the same after any alcohol. I only tested the blood after regular vodka and "average" cognac.
