When we think of a sports car, we probably picture Audi, BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche. But if there's one brand that has sportiness and racing ingrained in its DNA, it's Alfa Romeo. This time, I'm reviewing a 33, launched in 1983 to compete with the Golf and positioned below the 75 in the lineup. Opening the hood, we find a rare 1.7-liter boxer engine fed by two twin-choke carburetors—no turbocharger, old school—that produces an absolutely wonderful sound.
