Germany - Yeltsin Sings 'Kalinka' To Celebrate

(31 Aug 1994) Russian President Boris Yeltsin joined in with a children's choir on Wednesday (31/8) as they sang the traditional Russian folksong "Kalinka" as part of the celebrations marking the withdrawal of the last Russian troops from Germany. On a couple of occasions Yeltsin, who had drunk some glasses of champagne at lunch, had to be steadied by the German President, Roman Herzog, as he left.
