Every Muslim Needs to Hear This

Here's a checklist we can use to evaluate ourselves and see where we stand: Signs of hypocrisy: • Lying when speaking (Sahih al-Bukhari 33; Sahih Muslim 59) • Breaking promises (Sahih al-Bukhari 33; Sahih Muslim 59) • Betraying trusts (Sahih al-Bukhari 33; Sahih Muslim 59) • Being treacherous when making agreements (Sahih al-Bukhari 34; Sahih Muslim 58) • Behaving in an evil and insulting manner during arguments (Sahih al-Bukhari 34; Sahih Muslim 58) • Laziness in prayer and praying to be seen by others (Qur'an 4:142) • Neglecting Fajr and Isha prayers (Sahih al-Bukhari 657; Sahih Muslim 651) • Saying what you do not do (Qur'an 61:2-3) Abdullah ibn Abi Mulaykah رحمه الله said: "I met thirty of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, all of them feared hypocrisy for themselves."
