Ahead of his long awaited return to the ring Errol Spence sat down with Andre Ward and discussed his career so far, his comeback and the defeat to Terence Crawford. Spence said some interesting things in the conversation, most notably that he did little to no sparring for his huge fight with Terence Crawford, a fight he ultimately lost via 9th round stoppage in 2023. Spence also said that he was not particularly impressed with anything Crawford did and put the defeat down to his poor preparation.
