How to do sankyo from a kata dori attack. In this video lenny sly of the #roguewarriors training compound is continuing #takingaikidoback by teaching us his famous approach to his aikido. Here sensei teaches us how to do his aikido sankyo. He first shows us what kata dori is which its a shoulder grab attack and then shows us a very unique way how to do sankyo by grabbing the fingers. The finger grab is a different version of yubi dori. After the sankyo is applied he shows us how to take down the uke and apply a standing pinning technique. At the end of the video sensei shows us how to go from sankyo to how to do shihonage. It is very clear the lenny sly aikido is very effective above all other styles. #takingaikidoback #rougewarriors
