BikeSafe with Thames Valley Police

I recently went on a BikeSafe course with Thames Valley Police. My thoughts on what I wanted from the course, a little sample of the observed riding and finally what I took away from the course. BikeSafe is operated by virtually every Police force in the country. You get the experience and tips of Class 1 Police motorcycle riders. It's a day long course, classroom based in the morning and our riding in the afternoon. The TVP lot were brilliant. A good bunch of sensible policemen and a very enjoyable course. On top of that we got a bag of goodies including obligatory mug and pen, but also a neck warmer, key ring, a bike stand pad (the ones you use when parking on soft ground) and helmet sun sticker to name a few........and all of this for £50!
