MINISTRA DELPIANO PARTICIPA EN RONDA DEL PATRULLERO “CIRUJANO VIDELA”

Minister Delpiano participates in Navy patrol of the "Cirujano Videla" patrol that carried a medical team to Llingua Island in Chiloé. This Thursday, the Minister of National Defense, Adriana Delpiano, participated in a Navy "medical patrol" to Llingua Island, in the Chiloé archipelago. The patrol boat "Cirujano Videla" arrived there with a team consisting of a doctor, a midwife, a dentist, and a nurse, who provided various services to a community that, due to its isolation, has no other way to access these professionals on the island. During the visit to Llingua Island, the medical team performed more than 100 medical and dental services, benefiting more than 40 patients. Minister Delpiano highlighted the importance of the Navy operation, noting that "these community support services are very important. In this case, Surgeon Videla has been providing this medical service to the islands for almost twenty years. This Friday, Minister Delpiano visited the Army's "Sangra" Regiment, located between Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt, where she met with personnel from the Army's Military Labor Corps, which is currently carrying out two projects in the region: The minister also referred to the accident of an Air Force black-hop helicopter that crashed in the southern ice fields, which unfortunately resulted in the death of the aircraft's captain and the injury of three other crew members.
