CARAMELIZED PORK - VIETNAMESE RECIPE (THIT KHO) (English ingredients in description below) ============================================ For the Lunar New Year, we are offering you this caramelized pork recipe, Vietnamese-style. Also called thit kho, it is a classic of Vietnam cuisine, consisting of pork cuts simmered in a sauce which combines the sweetness of caramel and the saltiness of nuoc mam (fish sauce). It is a dish traditionally served during the Tết celebrations (Vietnamese New Year).
