🪔 Little India Deepavali 2025 - Highlights of Light-Up Ceremony & Street Parade #deepavali #diwali Deepavali 2025 celebrations in Singapore kicked off in style at Little India! Also known as Diwali in other parts of the world, this Festival of Lights is one of the most important celebrations in the Indian calendar. President Tharman Shanmugaratnam officiated the Light-Up Ceremony, followed by a spectacular street parade along Serangoon Road. The vibrant parade brought together cultures and communities – from traditional Indian dances and martial arts to a Chinese Lion Dance and Snake Dance (marking the Year of the Snake), a Malay dance, and even a multi-ethnic performance by the People’s Association.
