Last night, a powerhouse of people assembled in Philadelphia to map out the current fight for civil rights and the stories that shape our history. @19thnews and Errin Haines @emarvelous, Editor-at-large, assembled an all star cast of Nikole Hannah-Jones, filmmaker Dawn Porter, author Erika Sanchez and legal experts from the ACLU and NAACP LDF at the Declaration of Belonging. Black and brown people built America, and we belong here despite efforts to try to erase our presence from the past, present and the country's future.
