Horizontal Boring Mill in Action - Boring a Vacuum Pump Housing - Manual Machine Shop

A badly worn bore on a Vane type vacuum pump will cause it to not pump. That was the case for this farmer. It was quite choppy inside causing the vanes to bounce and not pump at all. These pumps create the suction for the milking machines, without it, you must milk by hand. Follow along with our setup and running this interesting job on the Lucas horizontal boring mill.
