Preserved: Lincolnshire Road Car: 907 (FX53TXA) Volvo B7TL/ East Lancs. Vyking

Time for a final loop around Dewsbury, and we finalise with another preserved Volvo, this time of the Lincolnshire low floor variety, with a B7TL roaring through Yorkshire. New in early 2004 as 907. FX53TXA was one of a small batch of 4 East Lancs. bodied Volvo B7TLs bought by Lincolnshire Road Car, allocated to Grimsby depot for use on the long distance route 3 to Lincoln. Stagecoach bought Lincolnshire Road Car in 2005, becoming their 16907, and at one point wearing the purple & gold Interconnect livery. As 16907 it later had spells at Lincoln, Skegness, settling down at Scunthorpe until withdrawal in 2022 and purchased for preservation by the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft. Providing one of the final trips of the day from Dewsbury Bus Museum's Ravensthorpe site to Dewsbury Station via the town centre. FX53TXA is powered by a Euro 3 Volvo D7C engine coupled to a ZF Ecomat 5HP502C 5-speed automatic gearbox, and in typical B7 fashion has the cooling fan making its prescence known. Do enjoy.
