Actual Inarching Demonstration of Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit!

One of the most challenging tasks in our nursery operations now is the propagation of the EVIARC-developed Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit. The mortality rate in our grafting operations, using Cleft Grafting is a very disappointing 90 to 95 percent. Other plant propagators who got scions from my farm also had the same experience prompting them to shift to Inarching. Unlike grafting where the scion cut from the mother tree is inserted in rootstock, Inarching involves inserting the rootstock into the scion which is attached to the Mother Tree. While this is a more difficult and laborious method of propagating the Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit, we have to shift to Inarching to produce more seedlings.
