I am currently at The Society Hotel in the heart of downtown Portland, and let me tell you, the vibes here are just incredible. The moment you walk in, you can feel this amazing, welcoming energy that makes you feel like you're part of something special. It is tucked away in such a perfect location too. I am literally just a short stroll away from the stunning Lan Su Chinese Garden, and if you are a book lover like me, Powell's City of Books is only about eight hundred meters away. I could honestly spend my entire trip just wandering between these spots! The hotel itself has this super cool, soulful atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else. One of my favorite things so far is the terrace. It is the perfect little escape to sit back, soak in the city air, and just decompress. And if you get a little hungry or thirsty, they have a fantastic on-site bar and a restaurant serving delicious American cuisine that is just to die for. It is so convenient to have everything right there. Whether you are in town for the Oregon Convention Center or just want to explore the Portland Art Museum and the waterfront park, everything is so incredibly accessible. They also have free WiFi that is super fast, which is a lifesaver, and the front desk is open twenty-four hours a day. The staff here are genuinely so helpful and friendly; they've already helped me with so many questions about the local area. Plus, they offer express check-in, which makes arriving after a long flight so much smoother. I am honestly having the best time here, and I know you would too.
