Jenna Norwood is a passionate global health advocate, documentary filmmaker, motivational speaker and healthy living coach focused on the effects of food choices on our lives; mind, body, spirit & planet. She's been a guest speaker at Harvard University and has been featured in Reuters International, Woman's World Magazine, AOL Health, KBS TV (with TV shows airing in Japan, China and Korea), Radio Paradiso in Tokyo and China Central TV, with a viewing audience of 1.2 billion.Her award-winning, independent documentary film, "Supercharge Me! 30 Days Raw" was inspired by and is the opposite of "Supersize Me." Jenna received her B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and subsequent health education from the Optimum Health Institute, The Graff Academy and the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, as well as in-depth independent study and experience. She's the former Chair of the Board of Directors for the Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
