The bridge serves as a vital access point connecting Central Aceh, Bener Meriah, and Bireuen. After months of waiting without certainty, residents finally took the initiative to undertake repairs independently through a fundraising campaign. From a construction cost of approximately IDR 500 million, the community managed to raise IDR 1 billion as a token of their commitment to restoring the disrupted vital access. Emotions filled the inauguration of the newly completed Enang-Enang Bridge. Residents described the bridge as crucial for social interaction and daily activities. The initiator of the Enang-Enang Road repairs, Syarial Abadi, also provided a statement regarding the construction process. Previously, flash floods and landslides that struck several areas in Aceh in November 2025 damaged several connecting bridges and rendered them unusable. During the severance of access, residents had to cross rivers, navigate rocky hills, or travel tens of kilometers around the area to access their daily activities. Without waiting for government assistance, the community worked together to repair the bridge, which has been a vital connection for residents in Pintu Rime Gayo District.
