Single mother builds bamboo house, REVIVED abandoned land into farm providing clean food

I am 25 years old this year. A single mother. Perhaps, life did not give me many choices... But I chose to stand up, to start over with my own hands. I bought a small piece of land at the foot of the mountain, which had been abandoned, full of weeds and rocks. The first day I set foot here, I was both scared and excited. There was no one beside me, just me and my little daughter. But I believed... if I tried, this place would become my home. I started clearing the land. Under the blazing sun, I cleared each clump of grass, picked up each stone. Sometimes I was so tired that I had to sit down and sigh, but looking at my daughter running around laughing, I felt more strength to continue. I did not have much money, so I had to think of the most economical way. I chose bamboo - a cheap, close, and familiar material to Vietnamese people. Bamboo is soft but tough, rustic but durable... just like my life.
