If you don't want to learn how to install the 230V network in your van, then you've come to the right place! 😉 Because in this video, I'm going to show you how to install and connect a P17 socket that will allow you to connect to the French EDF 230V network, whether you're camping or at home. This will be very practical for not draining power from your auxiliary battery, and if you have a battery charger, you can even use it to recharge it! 💡🔌 A P17 socket is normally installed on the exterior bodywork, but I made a different decision: to put it in my engine compartment, more precisely on the plastic cover protecting my engine battery. I show you all this in detail in the video, and there's even the wiring diagram for the installation, because you'll still need to install a 30mA 16A residual current circuit breaker and a standard 10A circuit breaker as a precaution!
