The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 dark fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and produced and conceived by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween Town, who stumbles through a portal to Christmas Town and decides to celebrate the holiday. The Lord of Halloween, Jack Skellington, bored of doing the same thing every year, discovers Christmas in Christmas Town and is fascinated, so he decides to go all out and improve the holiday. To this end, he kidnaps Santa Claus and creates a version of Christmas completely opposite to the one that exists.
