Adi Shankara Nilayam Melpazhur Mana Ernakulam

Adi Shankarara's birth place is Melpazhur Mana, which is in Ernakulam district near Chottanikkara. This is Adi Shankara's mother's house and later Sankaracharyar moved to Kalady to his father's house. This Melpazhur Mana is under Chinmaya Mission and they are taking care of this building and the surrounding very beautifully.
