I'm in New Jersey this week visiting family and I am SHOCKED by the prices of things, specifically in New Jersey and New York this trip. Let's talk more about cost of living differences in the U.S. and Spain and other cultural differences. *Me, my husband and our two boys ages 13 and 11 moved from South Carolina in the U.S. to Madrid, Spain. We did a one-month trial in Tenerife, Spain in July 2023 and loved it so much that we came back on volunteer visas through a school for a gap year by September 2023. Now, running our own U.S. businesses and on digital nomad visas, we're in year three in Spain and continue to rent out our farmhouse in the U.S. long term as our boys go to middle and high school in Spain.
