Echos of Eternity From the Neolithic Dawn to Rumi
This episode @Tumbleweed and Tocai finds us learning about one of the fundamental changes that humankind underwent, from a hunter gatherer lifestyle to a more settled agrarian one. Catalhoyuk Neolithic site and interpretive center explained these changes in more depth. Venturing on to the city of Konya, the tomb of the Sufi mystic and poet was very impressive. It was a great people watching spot as it is a major pilgrimage site for Turkish people. Other delights of Konya included incredible tiles, delicious baklava, a traditional oud maker and Hercules laboring away on his tasks. Come along for the ride in Tumbleweed the van as we continue to discover the delights of Turkiye.
