Los Vosgos. le tour des 4 lacs. Alsacia y Lorena, Francia

The Magic Route of the Colored Lakes: Green, Black, White, and Forlet in the Vosges Immerse yourself in the heart of the Vosges with one of its most iconic and photogenic routes: the route that takes you through the Green Lake, the Black Lake, the White Lake, and the Trout Lake (Forlet). This journey offers a palette of natural colors and dreamy landscapes that will leave you breathless. A Walk Between Contrasts and Legends This route immerses you in the geology and history of the Vosges, where each lake has its own personality and atmosphere: White Lake (Lac Blanc): Often the starting point, this lake is the most accessible and popular. Its intense blue-green waters contrast with the pale rocks that surround it, giving it its name. It is a center for outdoor activities and, in winter, a ski resort. The views from its surroundings are simply spectacular. Black Lake (Lac Noir): A radical change of scenery. Nestled between steep forested cliffs, Black Lake has a dark and mysterious color that gives it a dramatic feel. Its depth and the reflection of the dense fir forests create an almost somber atmosphere, steeped in local legends. Trout Lake / Forlet (Lac des Truites / Lac du Forlet): This is the highest lake on the route, a true hidden treasure. Also known as "Lac du Forlet," it is a haven of peace with crystal-clear waters that invite calm and observation. Its alpine setting and more intimate atmosphere make it a favorite with hikers. It's the perfect spot for a picnic. Green Lake (Lac Vert): Although sometimes not included on the main "Three Lakes" route, Green Lake is a nearby gem worth visiting if time and desire permit. Its name comes from the emerald color of its waters, a result of the presence of algae and sediment. It's a place of great beauty, often more peaceful than others.
