Glorious CBR1100XX Blackbird #5 - Carbon wheels

Carbon fiber Rotobox wheels, Arashi brake rotors and HEL Performance braided brakelines. Guess the weight saving! The Rotobox wheels really look fabulous. They are a significant investment for sure to the Blackbird, but the carbon wheels are so significantly lighter that they make a huge difference in the way the bike feels and handles. Rotobox said that only 5 CBR1100XX bikes in the world have their carbon wheels, but this is the only one with this colour. https://www.rotobox-wheels.com/en Arashi is a Chinese company, and I purchased their rotors from online. I wanted the wavy rotors, as they blend in and are not so noticeable. The cost is significantly lower to western suppliers, but the perception of quality and the performance so far are just fine. https://www.arashi-motor.com Purchased from Aliexpress. HEL Performance brake and clutch lines were ordered mainly because of the raised handlebars, but also in this linked brake system the length of the lines causes already some loss of feel that these braided lines can cure.
