This vlog follows the quiet daily life of a Japanese senior couple living in the English countryside, in a 500-year-old house with a large fireplace. We share peaceful moments surrounded by our seasonal garden, kitchen garden, antiques, and our beloved dog and cat daughters 🐾 We recently returned to Japan for a longer visit. During that time, a neighbour kindly let us know that a tree in our garden had fallen. But when we finally came back home, the reality was far beyond what we had imagined… We never expected that the tree had been completely uprooted. This walnut tree had been like a symbol of our kitchen garden, so seeing it fallen was truly heartbreaking.
