Trek Checkpoint ALR build breakdown | specs, cost & was it worth it?

After sharing my new bike day, today we dive deeper and take a look at some of the details of my Trek Checkpoint ALR gravel bike custom build. In this video, I go into the full spec of the bike, which components I chose to build it out with and I explain why I went down the custom route instead of choosing off the peg. Every part of this build was carefully selected to create the gravel bike that most perfectly suits my needs, with a reasonable budget in mind. I also breakdown the total cost of the bike and compare it to off the shelf options to address the question of if doing this was worth it. If you are considering building up your own gravel bike, or just looking at the Trek Checkpoint ALR then this video should help you on your way. I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you have any questions or thoughts in the comments!
