KEF 104/2: STILL ANY GOOD? Vintage KEF vs. Tekton Lore

Visit my website. https://2channellistening.com/ This week I am reviewing vintage KEF 104/2 speakers on loan to me from Dave Druzisky at Authentic Audio Idaho. He restores vintage audio equipment. He wanted me to play these, see how they sound after he replaced the Ferrofluid in the tweeters and if the crossovers would need touching. https://www.authenticaudioid.com/ I pitted the KEF against my Tekton Lore's which as you can see from Hifi Shark, both speakers on the used market are very close in price - so I surmised this a fair battle of real time price points. (Maybe not!) Full system used in this comparison, with an Apple DB meter app set to 90db max playback, I really kept it at 85 and below to keep all things equal.
