Today on what it’s like we dive in deep on Auburn automobile company, which evolved from the Eckhart carriage company founded in Auburn Indiana by Charles Eckhart with humble beginnings. But it didn’t take long for the company to take hold in soon prosper Charles Eckhart was able to take a step back from the company, leaving two of the sons Frank Ian Morris in charge of the buggy business they would get bitten by the automotive bug in the late 1890s building their first car for sale to the public in 1903. The original Auburn company was more or less assembled car company where they would take various parts from various manufacturers and build cars in the house in 1919 Franklin Morris would decide to get out of the automotive business altogether selling the company to a group of Chicago investors..
