Our List of Possible "New" (to us) House Projects...on a Budget.
Easter has come and gone and we are thankful for a fun holiday time with our family and friends. The girls have loved watching our videos, and Josey volunteered to help make some content by filming a Saturday in her life. We hope you enjoy this peek into how she spends her time! With the weather staying pretty nice these days, we've been thinking a lot about our outdoor spaces and where we want to focus our attention this coming year. We went from 1/10th of an acre in Georgia to our current 5 acres, and it's hard to pick where to start! There's been a great focus point as we talk about projects, and that is that our budget is literally $0. :) Nothing like reality setting in to help you set realistic goals. We have some materials we've collected since last year sitting in piles that we think we can use to make some pretty nice and useful areas outdoors...I'll share those with you and we will see what we get done this year. I also share some indoor projects we have the materials to do if I can find the time to do them, and why projects like these take so much longer these days than they did in the beginning of parenthood. I also talk a little bit about what I've realized about my own personality when it comes to our home, and how it can be both a blessing and a curse when it comes to dreaming about improvements and projects. Maybe you'll relate or maybe you're the exact opposite--either way, I'm trying to find a good balance between the two!
