Myxopapillary Ependymoma (WHO Grade 2) | Neuropathology Review

Welcome back to the channel! After finishing the AP/CP Boards, I'm getting back into making pathology content and reviewing high-yield diagnoses that are relevant for both board preparation and daily practice. In this video, I review Myxopapillary Ependymoma, a classic spinal ependymal neoplasm most commonly arising in the filum terminale, cauda equina, and conus medullaris region. We cover the key histologic features, immunophenotype, differential diagnosis, WHO classification, and board-relevant pearls. For this review, I utilized two excellent educational resources: 📚 PathLibrary Slidebox (Case 59) @x/ 📚 Kurt Schaberg's CNS Tumor Notes @ent/uploads/sites/604/2025/03/CNS-Tumors.pdf Both resources are outstanding for pathology residents, fellows, and anyone preparing for boards. If you're studying neuropathology, AP/CP boards, or simply enjoy learning pathology, consider subscribing for future high-yield reviews and board-focused content. #Pathagonia #Pathology #Neuropathology #MyxopapillaryEpendymoma #APCPBoards #BoardReview #MedicalEducation #Pathologist #PathologyResident #CNSPathology #NeuropathologyFellowship
