Red River Rage and Retribution
March 1928 saw Texas and Oklahoma continue its bank robbery rage! Gangster villain, Aubrey Ray, roped a greenhorn into committing a robbery. It went wrong. Plus, Ray and his gang are captured and sentenced to long bids, a gang "literally boils $5,100" cracking a safe, and the Texas Bankers' Association reward inadvertently creates a "murder machine" or "reward ring". Bank jobs, rooming house raids, courtroom dramas, and escaped murderer on the loose, and a down and out embezzler is found in a New Orleans flophouse.
