The conflict between the Jacobite and Orthodox churches is unnecessary and avoidable. These issues are largely the result of actions by so-called church leaders. While many are educated, they lack true wisdom. They fail to live according to the teachings of the Holy Bible, and it’s shameful to claim leadership of these churches while behaving in such a way. Their behavior is more suited to political leadership than to guiding a spiritual community. Leaders should be role models, teaching and promoting love and forgiveness, not inciting followers toward violence.
