Mackie SRM150 powered loudspeaker review and user guide
A review of the smallest member of the Mackie Sound Reinforcement Monitor series, the SRM150. Despite having only a single 5.25" cone loudspeaker, this unit manages to sound surprisingly good, even at relatively high volume levels. Review includes demonstrations with an SM58 vocal microphone as well as with my Takamine TSF48c acoustic guitar. Part of this video focuses on inconsistencies and 'creative' aspects of Mackie's specification sheets. The company has long been known for flowery language and hyperbole in its marketing materials, so let's see just how accurate their specs are.
