Clinical Psychology PhD Program Interview Tips| How to Prepare for Virtual PhD Interviews

Hey y'all it's Bri! I'm here with some tips on everything you need to know to start preparing for virtual interviews for your clinical psychology and counseling psychology PhD programs. I know this year is strange with interviews likely not being conducted in person, but I assure you it will be more than okay. How do I know? Because my program had virtual interviews before COVID-19 and it worked out just fine! I had the pleasure of interviewing at 9 PhD programs (6 clinical, 2 counseling, and 1 hybrid) and have a myriad of different experiences to draw from when it comes to preparing for these interviews. This video will walk you through the different types of interviews that you may encounter like faculty 1 on 1s or group interviews and tell you how to best prepare for each. Virtual interviews offer pros and cons that in-person interviews do not such as helpful tips and tricks to make you feel more confident and prepared.
