令和8年度 竹友会・常磐会 お囃子競演会「開会」〜「竹友会・常磐会新加入者 笛披露」

March 29, 2026, at Hatta-san Temple, Fukuroi Every year around this time when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the annual Hayashi (traditional Japanese music) competition (joint cherry blossom viewing party) of the Takeyukai and Tokiwakai groups took place. This year, blessed with warm, spring-like weather and clear skies, the event was held at Hatta-san Temple, attracting many visitors including worshippers, cherry blossom viewers, and those purchasing amulet dumplings. The flute and drum performances, along with the sharing of sake, made for a meaningful cherry blossom viewing party fostering camaraderie between the two groups.
