You can watch our first Costa Rica video here ➡️    • Costa Rica with Kids! – Part 1 🌴 Worldscho...   COSTA RICA FAMILY ADVENTURE – Part 3 📌 TRIP DETAILS & HIGHLIGHTS ⛰️ La Fortuna & the Cloud Forest We started our journey near Arenal Volcano, hiking through the lush cloud forest and taking in the misty mountain views — a magical beginning to our time in Costa Rica. 🏖️ Beach Day on the Pacific Coast This was our baby's first visit to the beach! We played in the waves, stayed alert for rip currents, and enjoyed the coastline's natural beauty. Our kids loved swimming and finding pretty shells — though we left them on the beach (it's illegal to take shells home from Costa Rica!). 🐒 Manuel Antonio National Park One of our favorite days! We spotted capuchin monkeys, walked through dense jungle boardwalks, and splashed in the surf at the national park beach. Juliet napped through most of it — but the rest of us soaked in the adventure. 🐋 Marino Ballena National Park – Whale Tail Beach We visited the famous Uvita Whale Tail, a sandbar that emerges at low tide. Though we didn’t walk the full peninsula, it was incredible to see the tide moving in from both sides. Our compact Doona stroller made beach travel with a baby super convenient — until a rogue wave splashed our passports! 😅 💦 Catarata Uvita (Uvita Waterfall) A quick hike (water shoes recommended!) took us to a refreshing waterfall swimming hole. I wore Juliet in a wrap for easier hiking. We decided not to jump from the top, but the kids had a blast exploring the stream and swimming below. ⛴️ Ferry to the Nicoya Peninsula To wrap up our trip, we took a ferry to the quieter side of Costa Rica and rented a house for some relaxed family time.
