How does UP create a safe environment for its students? University of Portland has many resources that can support your needs, like interpersonal conflicts, mental health care, and campus safety. Our main resources include: UP's Care Team, a program where community members (parents, faculty, and staff) can submit a referral for a student who may be showing signs of mental distress. Once the Care Team is contact, they will assess the situation and offer support by matching the student to the appropriate resource.
