"Maeda Construction Fantasy Sales Department" is a film about a public relations group that gets thrown into overdrive by their boss's crazy project: "Let's use our technology to build a hangar for Mazinger Z!" The film opens in theaters on January 31st. Gibo of Magazine Summit's editorial department recently conducted an exclusive interview with Yukino Kishii, who plays the heroine! ! It's a reckless project that "will never actually be built," but involves submitting blueprints, setting a construction schedule, completing estimates, and working on it just as if it were a real thing. Despite being at the mercy of the ambiguous and inconsistent setting of the anime world, the team makes full use of the full potential of their technology. The film also depicts the growth of the characters amidst all this. Kishii, who we interviewed this time, made her acting debut in the 2009 TV drama "A Little Princess Sara." Many of you may have known her from a Tokyo Gas commercial. Since then, she has appeared in a series of popular productions, including "Silver Spoon," "MIRACLE: Devil Claus' Love and Magic," "Moriyama Middle School Driving School," "Double Life," and "Pink and Gray." She played the lead role in the stage play "Considerate Lucy" and also appeared in the NHK Taiga drama "Sanada Maru," marking her first attempt at a period drama. In 2017, she made her film debut in "Grandpa, Died?". Last year, she also played the lead role in "Love is Hard for Otaku." This time, Kishii will be playing the role of Emoto, the only female employee in the PR department.
