Foça and Çandarlı... Two beautiful coastal towns of İzmir. Our vacation continues! This time, we visited two wonderful places in İzmir, the pearl of the Aegean. First, we stopped by Çandarlı. We explored the historic Çandarlı Castle and felt the cool Aegean breeze. The castle is so massive and impressive that it takes you back in time instantly. While walking on the quiet beaches of Çandarlı, we enjoyed a peaceful break, away from the crowds. Then, we turned our route towards Foça. When you think of Foça, the first things that come to mind are that deep blue sea and the white houses... We soaked in the view. After walking along the coast, the real surprise was waiting for us: İngiliz Burnu (English Cape). We couldn't come here and not look at that turquoise sea; it really is a hidden paradise.
