Tommy's Trains - Unexpected Trip to Manors

Tommy's school had a problem on Monday morning giving us an unexpected opportunity to go to Manors for a morning of trainspotting. We had a brilliant couple of hours seeing a lot of freight and the drivers gave us so many horn blasts. We also saw two crossovers, one of which was when we returned to Cramlington with two LNER Azuma trains whizzing past each other. We saw a total of 7 Class 66s with two Freightliners and the rest all GBRF. We also saw a stunning Colas Rail Class 70. We saw three LNER Azuma livery trains, Bradford City of Culture, Century and Celebrating Scotland as well as Lumo, Cross Country and Northern trains. It's only a few more days until we go on our half term adventure which we cannot wait for. It was great to get out today as a warm up for what till be a great week of trainspotting.
