Civil Protection and Fire Department officers, along with officers from the Municipal Preventive Police Station and paramedics from the Tlajomulco Municipal Medical Services, responded this morning to a collision between a compact car and a train. The incident occurred at a location known as La Curva del Cuervo (The Crow's Curve), where the San Sebastián Highway, the Unión del Cuatro Road, and the Tlajomulco-Santa Fe Highway intersect, near the Colinas del Roble housing development. Upon arrival, emergency units found the train stopped approximately 270 meters ahead of the crossing, as well as a blue Chevrolet Aveo on the tracks with visible damage from the collision. Inside the vehicle, they found the driver, a woman approximately 32 years old, who was already deceased. The woman was apparently driving on the San Sebastián Highway towards the Tlajomulco-Santa Fe Highway when she allegedly tried to cross the tracks ahead of the train. #tlajomulco #civilprotection #firefighters #traffic
