Simple Maintenance That Can Help Your Toyota Run FOREVER: 22RE Pickup & 4Runner

HOW TO adjust your valves, find top dead center (TDC) and replace a fuel filter on a 22RE. Replacing the fuel filter, engine oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Routine maintenance and tune up on my Toyota. Keep your Toyota running FOREVER by keeping up with the maintenance! These motors can run 300k+ miles but you have to take care of them! This applies to Toyota Pickup and 4Runner 1982 - 1995. (22R, 22RE, 22RTE). Additionally I install some Yota1 performance billet half moons, a new valve cover gasket, and replace my coolant temperature sensor (CTS) because the old one wasn't working. The half moons are supposed to fix an issue the 22re has where the rubber half moons don't seal and produce a valve cover leak. I'm getting my Toyota Pickup ready for the summer. I plan to take this truck on a lot of wheeling and camping trips this summer, and I have to make sure it runs without any issues! It ran great before, but runs even better now!
