Newport Beach Travel | Wellness on vacation | Vacation in my 40’s

In this video: We always start our road trips to Newport Beach with packed sandwiches that I make before we leave so we aren’t getting fast food. I make myself my go to ground beef with mashed potatoes + mashed carrots. I just microwave it before we leave so it’s not rock hard from being in the fridge. We pack an ice chest with other healthy snacks and our lunch. We did a last minute air bnb right on the main area on Newport peninsula. We walked to a place we have gone to before Wild Taco. It’s ok. Really small portions and not great air flowing. We keep trying it and it just isn’t worth it. I usually get chicken fajitas and just eat the chicken and rice. We also heard about this healthy grocery store called Birdie’s Bodega in Costa Mesa. They are building a new one in Newport! So we stopped by that and grabbed some sourdough and eggs. I always try and get fresh sourdough with just a few ingredients and soy, corn free pasture raised organic eggs. Health food stores usually have them. I also needed some stuff from sprouts as well. So we grabbed some pancake mix for breakfast in the mornings, butter, syrup and some fruit. I did bring my glass waters so we just refilled them at the water stores nearby this trip and it worked well. Starting back up posting some videos. I have been on quite a health journey these past 5 years with so many low lows. Now in my 40's with three kids, two of which are almost out of high school I have learned so much and have been teaching my kids how to take care of your body younger to possibly help prevent future problems. Follow along for my tips and tricks I have learned through the years and the never ending journey of health & wellness in this new phase of life. Instagram: @heyhuunny Tik Tok: @heyhuunny
