[Re: Jazz We Loved] "A Reply to the Jazz We Loved" This concert is both a response and a tribute to the jazz we hold dear. Young jazz artists from Korea connect with the legendary figures of jazz—Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Evans, Chet Baker, Antônio Carlos Jobim—through the timeless works they left behind, reinterpreting them with their own artistic sensibilities. Rather than merely recreating the original pieces, the performers engage in a musical conversation with the greats, telling their own stories in a unique voice. Following the performance, an artist talk will be held, offering the audience a chance to hear directly from the musicians. It’s an opportunity to gain deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, and personal connections to jazz.
